It is the start of a new year. For many of you that equals a clean slate….time to start new with your goals for fitness, for paying off bills and saving for retirement. What are your goals this year at work? Do you want to reduce the time needed to close your books each month? Do you want to get a new certification? Do you want to train someone in your office to be your “backup”? I had the opportunity last year to work with several companies that called CAL to get an assessment of how they were using their system, and help them to come up with new more efficient strategies. I am happy to report that after our sessions, they were able to balance their checkbooks (many were doing this outside of GP); they were able to reconcile their subledgers to the GL; and they were able to feel confident that their team was working together more efficiently. Prevent Documents from Printing on Your Check Stub

Use the Payables Check Stub Documents window to edit check stubs. The Payables Check Stub Window allows you to determine which Vouchers, Payments, Credit Memos, etc.(referred to in general as “documents” below) will be printed on an individual check stub.

Each of our tips and tricks have been “field-tested”. If you have any suggestions for new tips, please let us know.
