Another full week of features from the October 2023 release, love it! Because Microsoft Dynamics GP is so flexible and easy to use with modifications, many GP customers have created customized Messages that are sent to their customers and vendors of information specifically related to what they are sending them in the email. What was happening is when you went to reprint the vendor remittance or send the email again from the Purchasing Inquiry transaction by vendor window as an example, the vendor remittance email message (that you personalized and originally sent) did not contain your customized inserted fields from the document. Bummer!
With the 18.6 release, these personalized fields will now print on the original and also any reprints you may do.
Here is an example of inserted fields in the Message ID located under Administration choose Setup Select Company and E-mail Message Setup.
