We hope you are enjoying all these great features in the October release. Here is another one right in time for everyone’s favorite time of year, year-end!!

Over the last few versions, Microsoft has made significant improvements to the 1099 information for printing forms with lines, which everyone LOVES!

In the 18.7 release, we focused on tackling the issue you face when reconciling your 1099 information. Many users rely on the Edit 1099 Transaction Information window, and they’ve added a fantastic new drop-down option: ‘by Calendar Year Paid’. You can find this by clicking Transactions, choosing Purchasing, and then selecting Edit 1099 Transaction Information.

This enhancement is a game-changer! It significantly boosts efficiency by allowing users to easily view information for a specific tax year. When ‘Calendar Year Paid’ is selected, only 1099 vouchers for the selected vendor that have had some 1099 amount paid in that calendar year will display in the scrolling window. Users can then zoom in on the voucher to see how many payments have been made against it and the dates of those payments.

Restrict Payables 1099 by Calendar Year

But that’s not all! We’ve also added a Zoom feature to the 1099 Detail window on the Amount field. Under Purchasing, select Cards, and then 1099 Details. In the 1099 Details or 1099 Details Inquiry window, you can choose the zoom on the amount field, and the Edit 1099 Transaction Information window will open, filtered to the Vendor.

To top it off, we’ve introduced a new report/print option in the Edit 1099 Transaction Window to assist in reconciling the 1099 information for the vendor. The report name is Edit 1099 Transaction Report.

These enhancements are crucial for your customers because they streamline the process of managing 1099 information, making it more efficient and user-friendly. By implementing these features, your customers can save time, reduce errors, and have a clearer view of their financial transactions, ultimately leading to better decision-making and improved financial management.
