Microsoft Dynamics GP – 2024 Year-End Blog Series Schedule

It’s about that time of the year, Microsoft has announced their 2024 Dynamics GP Year-End Blog series schedule!

Microsoft releases this update in November to give you ample time to install it before the year-end.

In Support, they often get asked if it’s okay to install the Year-End Update even though the 2024 payrolls are not fully processed.
The answer is a resounding YES! They release the update early to provide you with this flexibility, knowing how hectic this time of year can be.

This update includes all previous updates for Microsoft Dynamics GP, which means it will cover versions 18.4, 18.5, 18.6 and yes, the most recent 18.7.As always, Microsoft aims to make things as easy as possible for you! The Microsoft Dynamics GP Support Team will be publishing blog articles with year-end closing information to help you plan for a smooth year-end close. These articles will address general questions about year-end processes for each module and any changes that may affect your Year-End processes for 2024.

With the election this year, it seems there may not be many changes, and you might be able to get by without installing the year-end update. However, it is best to work with your partner to review the changes and understand how they impact your specific business and processes.
