Back in September, Microsoft officially announced the Dynamics GP End of life date, but after receiving feedback from Dynamics GP users at Community Summit and other customer/partner events, Microsoft has shifted the end-of-life date to December 31, 2029.
Originally, product support and updates for Dynamics GP were set to end on September 30, 2029, with security patches continuing until April 30, 2031. However, to better support users through the tax year-end, Microsoft is now extending the product support and updates end date to December 31, 2029 (security patches will still end on April 30, 2031).
This extension ensures that you won’t need to switch to a new ERP system mid-year. You’ll continue to receive updates for 1099, W2, T4, and RL-1 forms, along with US and Canada tax changes.
